Swedish mission at the Swedish center

Today, January, 25, 2006, within the framework of a large-scale Swedish-Russian project "SWEDEN : UPGRADE", Swedish Center in Nizhny Novgorod was hosting a Swedish mission, consisting of: Mrs. Lena Jonson, Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of Sweden in Moscow, Mr. Andreas Tuvesson, 2nd Secretary of Economics and Trade Department of the Embassy of Sweden, Mrs. Christina Vakhrusheva, Project Coordinator of Economics and Trade Department of the Embassy of Sweden, Mrs. Margarita Serova, Marketing Advisor of the Swedish Trade Council, Mr. Mattias Lindgren, Marketing and Information Manager of the Swedish Trade Council and representatives of the International, External-economic and Interregional Relations Committee of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Delegation members have discussed with Managing Director of the Swedish Center Alexander Zaytsev and Vice-Director Maxim Soroka plans and perspectives of co-operation in arranging of activities within the project "SWEDEN : UPGRADE" in Nizhny Novgorod.

The project "SWEDEN : UPGRADE" is aimed at promotion of information about modern Sweden in Russia. It will consist of a number of activities, that will take part both in Sweden and Russia. Russian part of the project is planned for March-June of this year, while main activities in Nizhny Novgorod will take part from May, 31 till June, 2.
