Faculty of Economics, Management and Innovations (FEMI) of NSTU Celebrates the First Anniversary

April, 27, 2006. Faculty of Economics, Management and Innovations (FEMI) of Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University (NSTU) is celebrating the first birthday.

A year ago Rector of NSTU has signed an administrative order on formation of FEMI, detached from the Socio-Economic Faculty (SEF), in order to develop and advance the training of specialists in Management and Innovations with the following professions:

• Business Administration;
• Economics and Corporate Management (by industrial branches);
• Innovation Management.

In year 2006 one more profession - Information Management - will be introduced.

There are 2 thousand intra- and extramural students at the Faculty. Term of studies for Bachelor's Degree is four years, for Specialist - 5 / 5,5 years and for Master's Degree - 6 years.

Extramural Studies Department offers:

• complete extramural education - 6 years,
• abbreviated education for college graduates - 3.5 years,
• second higher education - 3 years,
• parallel higher education for 4th- and 5th-year students - 3 years.

The Faculty also offers elite 2-years MBA programme, intra- and extramural postgraduate education, specialized council for candidate and doctoral dissertations.
