Dailog TV channel entered the Nizhny Novgorod market of the television mass-media on March 10, 1997. Early in 2002 at the frequency of Dialog TV Channel (44 Dmb) the company started broadcasting a new Moscow entertainment channel - DTV.
DTV is a result of combined efforts of Modern Times Group (MTG), an international media holding, and all-Russia Darial TV channel.
MTG is a European company which controls 18 TV channels in 8 European countries. The MTG interests lay in various areas - from television to radio broadcasting, from Internet to printed mass media.
The joint project of Dialog TV Channel and DTV is a new entertaining television for Nizhny Novgorod. Dialog TV Channel air includes blockbusters, new feature films and romantic soap operas, entertainment programmes, sports and music.
Dialog TV Channel differs from other «channels-retranslators» by running its own production programmes which are the only means of maintaining a real feed-back with TV viewers. The potential audience of the Dialog TV channel is over 2 000 000 people. Thanks to a powerful transmitter (5 kW) we broadcast not only for Nizhny Novgorod but also for Dzerzhinsk, Bor, Kstovo, Pavlovo, Balakhna, Gorodets, Zavolzhie.
Apart from the line advertising which is common to TV channels without their own programmes, our advertising customers can run within the Dialog TV Channel programmes the clips about their firms, products; take part in direct air, carry out special projects for specific advertising tasks.
