Italian Business Desk was created in March, 7, 2003 on a contractual basis between the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University and Euroimpresa Legnano nonprofit organization (Province of Milan, Italy) with the aim of development and enlarging of the business co-operation between Nizhny Novgorod Region in Russia and Province of Milan in Italy.

Current lines of activities:

— organizational and informational, methodological and consulting assistance of Russian-Italian contacts in the areas of scientific research, technology transfer, small- and medium-scale business, culture and commerce.
— coordination of activities and arranging of participation of higher education institutes, research organizations, small- and medium-size enterprises of all the Volga Federal District in the joint Russian- Italian and other international projects in the field of business, scientific research and innovations.
— promotion of innovation projects and new technologies to the Italian market;
— providing information on potential business partners, suppliers or investors in Russia and Italy;
— support and encouragement of co-operation between small- and medium-size enterprises of Russia and Italy. Italian Business Desk has a partner in Italy. It’s the Russian Business Desk, opened in Legnano, Province of Milan, on September, 19, 2003.

We are offering co-operation to the small- or medium- size enterprises, businessmen, educational institutions, innovative firms and research organizations.
