Bolshoye Murashkino Fur Factory was founded in 1921 and was involved in processing of small and medium animal raw materials. Since 1966 the factory has been focused on processing of sheep skins for production of fur clothes and headgear for population of the Far North, Kamchatka, Far East, gaz and oil industry workers in Siberia.

OAO Bolshemurashkinskaya Mekhovaya Fabrika is involved in processing, production and sales:

• working fur clothes: coats, jackets, headgear, mittens, suits, socks;
• fur cloths and headgear made of fur and sheep skins for children, teenages, ladies and men;
• dress-making on individual order from customer's or factory materials.
