Borremflot, an open joint-stock company, is one of the leading firms of the Volga basin involved in repair and refitting of river vessels and mixed faring vessels ( sea - river ). The firm has been involved in ship repair and maintenance for over 100 years. A solid experience has been gained in refitting of dry cargo motor vessels of internal cruising - type Volgo-Don and vessels type III-CP of the Sea Shipping Register by cutting the hull length by 30 m.

OAO Borremflpot is recognised by the Russian River Register and by the Russian Sea Register as a firm which carries out under their supervision the ship installation and refitting works on a hull, propeller-steering units, main and auxiliary power plants, auxiliary equipment and piping lines, including fitting and finishing of ship's rooms, thermal insulation installation.

The firms has all required technology and space facilities to carry out the above activities, including a range of ship repair shops with total space of 8000 m2 and a wood processing shop of over 1000 m2, including building slips type G300 of 3600 tons capacity, storage facilities, regulation and technical documentation.

In addition, OAO Borremflot offers customers:

• manufacture of welded and assembled elements made from carbon and alloyed steel (including stainless steel);
• assistance in restoration of turning components (shafts) by automatic surfacing of carbon and stainless steel wire with subsequent mechanical processing;
• manufacturing of millwork elements and similar wooden components, including lumber supplies.
