Gorodez Shipyard was founded in 1918 as a merger of small-size ship-building workshops.
The shipyard is the only in Russia that specializes in production of composite docks and ferroconcrete wharfs. In co-operation with Monolit, a central design office, the shipyard takes advantage of this unique shipbuilding technology, has experienced personnel and equipped with all required production facilities.
Starting from the middle of the 1960s, the shipyard is specialized on building of technically and design complicated ferroconcrete floating means.
The vessels are delivered in hulls made of high resistance concrete and steel.
AOOT Gorodez Shipyard produces consumer goods: furniture for kitchen and halls, wooden rowing boats, metal articles. AOOT Gorodez Shipyard offers the following services: ship repairs, cargo road transportation, manufacturing of concrete and ferroconcrete constructions.
