The Gorodez Ship Repair Mechanical Works, a joint-stock company, is one of the major firms of river transport, equipped with high performance facilities and with unique ship repair and metal processing technologies.
The production facilities of the machine building area of the works allow to manufacture any steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metal elements (bronze alloys, aluminium) with weight up to 500 kg used for assembly of mechanical units and ship repair activities. The main product of the company is centrifugal pumps and pump units. This production line is continuously improving: new modifications of pumps are introduced.
The ship repair facilities with their ship lifting machinery, special equipment and advantageous location are second to none in the Volga water area. The highly qualified staff is capable to carry out any types of ship repair, including heat-resistant cleaning and paint coating of a ship’s hull. Over the recent years AO GSRMW is involved in completion of contracts for modernisation o iiver eessels llsss ShPPaand MSP for sailing in the sea and coastal areas.
