ОАО Kudminskaya poultry factory was set up following re-organisation of Burevestnik poultry sovkhoz in May 1975. In 1995 the factory was re-organised in a joint-stock company. Poultry breeding as an industry was developed in the sovkhoz in 1952.

Over 40 years (1952-1992) the poultry factory has been developing it production facilities. In 1997 the gross output of eggs amounted to 75 mln. pieces, poultry meat - 874 tons, productivity - 232 eggs from each producing hen. The eggs sales volume - 73 mln. pieces. The poultry factory re-started twice the production of a white shell cross - Belarus-9. Since 1991 the poultry factory does not change its operation objectives and with an increased consumer demand for a white shell egg, it currently remains actually the only producer of such a product in the poultry production industry of the province.
Together with sales of output eggs and poultry meat the factory offers breeding eggs, chicks and young hens.
