Radio RDV is one of the youngest radio stations in Nizhny Novgorod which appeared in our city on June 12, 1999 and quickly reached one of the top places in the Nizhny Novgorod radio stations rating. In Nizhny Novgorod the RDV regular listeners are the people of the active age (from 20 to 45 years old) with a medium and higher income level.
RDV is a music radio station. The programmes are always based on one unvarying rule - creation of high spirits. The radio broadcasts are not thronged with news, there are no any analytical projects. RDV offers programmes for motorists - Gear Box and Autotrack, entertainment projects for our listeners - Easy with RDV, Guide-FM and Playboy Empire. In the programmes broadcast for Nizhny Novgorod there are interviews with the most famous national actors and musicians. Only within one year of the radio station operation in Nizhny Novgorod the RDV studio presented Vladimir Kuzmin and Zempfira, Aria pop-group and
Boris Moiseev, Mumiy Troll and the actors of the Street of Broken Lamps TV soap. Radio RDV is the only mass-media that covered the events of the XXII Moscow International cinema festival on the direct air.
At that time the radio station studio welcomed Russian actors V. Glagoleva, A. Kharitonov, directors Igor Maslennikov and Nikita Mikhalkov and some foreign celebrities Billy Zein and Sam Nil. Radio RDV was an information sponsor of the Golden Podium-2000 and the Festival of Extreme Sports, the radio station was a co-organiser of Ex-Bike-2000, Woodstocker-4 and 4x4 Jeep festival. Radio RDV arranges frequent parties in the night clubs of Nizhny Novgorod. RDV night discos are regularly held in disco clubs Rocko, Nautilus, Pecheri, Storm, Ladia and others.
