Avtostrada, a road engineering enterprise, was set up by the Nizhny Novgorod Administration in December 1993. The enterprise is involved in construction, redesign and repair of motor roads using high effective equipment supplied by Wirtgen, Ir-ABG, Wiban, Vogel, Bomag ( Germany ).

Available road engineering machinery enables the enterprise to carry out construction, redesign and repair of road coating using both the traditional technologies and the methods of thermo-regeneration of asphalt cover on site or by cold cutting with a later recycling of the removed material.

All asphalt-concrete laying and cutting procedures are carried out with automatic levelling. The Avtostrada asphalt plant manufactured by Wiblan is fully automated and environment friendly.

The plant output enables the enterprise to cover not only its own requirements but to produce asphalt-concrete mixtures for the outside customers.

The engineering laboratory fulfils a full scope of material checks, assessment of road engineering quality and manufactured products, development of consultations on materials composition and production technology, storage, transportation and laying of asphalt-concrete mixtures.

The enterprise employs highly qualified personnel with an extensive experience in repair and reconstruction of motor ways. Avtostrada is an authorized dealer of Wirtgen in Nizhny Novgorod province. The enterprise carries out maintenance and repair of German-made road engineering equipment.
