AO Gorky Plant of Communication Equipment A. Popova (GPCE A.Popova) is a major national developer and manufacturer of air radio, ground and on board units, radio stations for radio centres as well as MW and SW fixed and mobile radio stations for various purposes from 50 to 1 000 W output (Kristal, Kristal-N, Yadro-2, Arlekin-D, Shirota, Kashtan and others).

The company produces high quality medical equipment: UHF-treatment portable units (UVCH-30-2), Magniter, a unique magnetic therapy unit which extremely effective in treatment of a wide variety of diseases.

Consumer products: Radius-N radiotelephone unit, Orion FM radio, Effect TV aerial amplifier, items for SKM-24, Skv-142 TV-sets, digital pay meters for taxis, Eka-1 cash register, RAUT radio extension for telephone line of 50 km range. UTA-20 mini telephone switching board enables a user to have an in-home telecommunication system.

AO GPCE A. Popova is well outfitted for production of printed circuit boards, assembly and adjustment of units with high density of installation, manufacturing of hybrid integrated circuits as well as for technology of mechanical, thermal, galvanic, plasma processing of metals, plastic and ceramics.
