The factory was founded in 1971 as an experimental production division with the Gorky Design and Technology Institute of the motor industry. The factory objective was to manufacture specialised technology and testing equipment for the enterprises of the motor industry as per designs developed by the institute. The factory technical facilities allow to carry out all types of mechanical processing, thermoprocessing, radio and electric installation, welding, paint coating, to fulfil assembly and testing of the produced equipment.

The factory was the first and the only enterprise in the country to run successfully the production of electrohydraulic units for endurance tests of vehicles and sets (hydraulic pulsars) highly assessed not only in Russia but abroad as well. In March 1992 the factory was reorganized in AOOT Nizhny Novgorod Factory of Testing and Technology Equipment. The traditions rooted in the past are carefully preserved by the factory employees.

Today the factory is mainly focused on single and small-batch production, including testing equipment for different components, units and machinery used in every industry and specialised nonstandard equipment.

The company has an extensive experience in production of machinery equipped with automatization means, instruments, programme control systems, technology electronic monitoring systems.

The gained experience, technical facilities, reserved production resources provide an opportunity for a further output growth and an extension of the product range.
