AOZT Konditer is set up in 1992 as a merger of two confectioneries, Sormovo and Krasny Oktyabr. The company is run by its employees, holding 100% of the shares. The number of the personnel — 1, 783. The company’s production facilities provide an output within 35, 000t p.a.: Sormovo confectionery — 30, 000t, Krasny Oktyabr — 5, 000t.

The range of products of Krasny Oktyabr confectionery:
— candied fruit gelly;

AO Konditer produces over 300 brand names. The products are sold in retail outlets of the city, the province and outside of it. The production programme for 1995 was developed on the basis of demand, purchasing power and totalled 20, 000t of confectionery. The company is equipped with 580 technology units involved in production.
