KVARZ is a specialized firm involved in science research, development and production of electronic measuring instruments. The institute has succeeded the well-known Nizhny Novgorod Radio Laboratory.

KVARZ develops and manufactures electronic measuring instruments for the following areas:
— standards of frequencies and time, instruments for precise measurement of frequencies and time;
— signal generators from meter to millimeter waves with all types of modulation, frequency synthesizers;
— signal and frequency analysers with a range from infralow to hundreds of Ghz;
— equipment for measuring of transmission section parameters and aerials, precise indicators of attenuation;
— parameter indicators of fibreoptical communication lines;
— HFS and microelectronic units;
— indicators of circuit and component immittance;
— systems and instruments for radio equipment checks;
— measurement systems and instruments for radio-electronics, machine building, instrument building, medicine, agriculture applicable in research and developed as per customer’s requirements;

The equipment is produced within the Russian and world standards. KVARZ is a technology leader in development of quant frequency and time standards, sources and analysers of mm-frequency range. The institute products are sold in Russia and delivered to Western Europe, Japan, USA, China and CIS countries.
