The Company Profile
AOOT Nizhny Novgorod Machine Building Plant was reorganized from a state-owned enterprise in 1994 within the process of privatisation. Originally the plant was set up in 1932. The plant is involved in variety of production, it integrates large-scale metallurgy and mechanic assembly facilities. The plant produces sophisticated and technology-intensive equipment used in a wide range of industries, in the Russian army and navy. The employees hold 62% of the company shares.

The Main Types of Product
Self-propelled units for reanimation of oil wells, self-propelled hydraulic towers for repair of electric networks, coal cutter-loaders, support - rotating units for satellite TV transmission, oil and gas cut-off valves, sea drilling equipment units, sugar pumps, manipulators, equipment for nuclear power stations, mobile heating centers with high availability for service, tyre formers and vulcanizers, metallurgy products: rolled products, forging, stamping, ingots, casting; vacuum cleaners, MW-ovens, car chargers, voltage stabilizers as well as special equipment for the Russian army.

Project and design development; a wide range of production methods: cutting, welding, cold stamping, mechanical processing, rubber pressing, plastic casting and pressing, galvano-processing, core coiling and winding, forging and pressing, special steel casting, aluminium and copper alloy casting, chemicothermal processing, assembly and test works.
