Radio Rendez-Vous, the first independent music and news radiostation in the region, was created in June 1992. The station founders: Kouryer publishing house, BAO Nizhny Novgorod Fair and other well-known city organisations.

In 1996 Radio Rendez-Vous offers the listeners the best music and hot news every hour on the hour. We are broadcasting at USW 70.16 MHz and FM 103.4mhz in stereo daily and at Programme 1 of wire-radio on weekdays from 14.00 to 15.00 hrs.

Radio Rendez-Vous steady tuning range is 70km in a USW band and 120km in a FM band.

We have listeners not only in Nizhny Novgorod but in Bor, Dzerzhinsk, Balakhna, Zavolzhiye, Arzamas, Semenov, Gorodez and in other major towns of the province. In a FM band we can be tuned in some districts of Vladimir and Ivanov provinces.

The city wire-radio system has 500, 000 subscribers. The radiostation managers have been trained in the best companies of the radio industry in USA, UK, France with the placements in the major world broadcasting corporations in the areas of programming, marketing, promotion.

Radio Rendez-Vouz advertising agency is involved in planning and launching of advertising campaigns. Since July 1994 the agency is operating in full service cycle.
