Strezhen made its maiden trip on the air on June 1, 1995. Area of telecasting: Nizhny Novgorod and Nizhny Novgorod province. Telecasting channel - 49 in a decimeter band. TK Strezhen is on the air for 14 hours daily. The TV channel programmes include local news, daily direct air involving TV viewers and the best programmes and films of TV-6 Moskva. The press and the people of the world showed very positive and flattering reaction as TV-6 was progressing, but what is more important, however, to any TV channel, it is affection and loyalty of the audience. Today the estimated number of the channel viewers is about 45m people of the former USSR. The channel management is focused on informative, entertaining, children and news programmes. Such a wide range of topics is the outcome of a successful cooperation of TV-6 with major corporations: CNN, Tri T, Mosfilm. TV-6 holds an exclusive right for demonstration of the films which won the most prestigious awards of the world cinema. The advert production and distribution at Strezhen is provided by the commercial service of TK Volga which offers a wide range of services in developing an advertising campaign.
