AO Etna by its 80th anniversary was entered in the list of 5 000 Russian enterprises, which managed to come through the hardships of the first stages of the transit period, to keep the main part of the personnel and production potential, the efforts resulted in an award of the Birmingham Torch, an international prize, in 1996.

The main area of operation: production of sorted hot-rolled steel up to 15 mm diameter in bundles; cold-rolled strips of 0.05 - 3.5mm thickness for stamping and deep drawing; wire of 0.5 - 5.0 mm diameter, including high a quality alloyed wire for production of extension-compression springs and valve springs for car engines and special machinery; tubes of 4.75, 6, 8,10 mm diameter for oil and hydraulic systems and refrigeration units; fixtures (bolts, screws, nuts, pins, rivets, splints, self-taping screws, stem elements of complicated configuration, hexagon screws for TORX spanner, DIN 931, 933 bolts, flat and spring washers, special nuts, DIN 934 nuts of various endurance classes, building and special purpose nails; consumer goods.

The basic Etna consumers are firms of motor car and bearing production industries of Russia and CIS: OAO GAZ, UAZ, PAZ, LiAZ, LAZ, AO Moskvitch, KrAZ, ZAZ, AO ZMZ, Yaroslavl engine plant and others.

The products are delivered to over 70 firms of motor service industry in CIS and to Greece, Italy, Bulgaria and other countries.
