The Company Profile
AOOT Metallist is set up following re-organisation of Metallist tool production amalgamation in 1993. In 1898 the Pervovs brothers merged small handicraft producers and set up a trading and manufacturing metalware partnership. The skills of the local craftsmen were highly appreciated at the Paris World Exhibition. The products of the Sosnovskoye craftsmen were honoured with medals at the Russian Exhibition in Yekaterinburg, Saratov, Kazan. In the recent years some metalware kits were awarded with medals at the All-Union People’s Economy Achievements Exhibition in Moscow. Nowadays Sosnovskoye AO Metallist, a tool producing firm, is a large-scale manufacturer of files, bench and fitting tools, consumer goods and tools for radio equipment, motor vehicles and plumbing. The amalgamation comprises 11 main production divisions with 7 of them located in villages of Sosnovsky district.

The firm produces: 7 types of files — 3.6 mln per years; 3 types of pipe lever wrenches — 0.7 mln per year, a wide range of hinge-jaw tools — 1.4 mln per year; bench and fitting screw drivers of various purpose — 2.2 mln per year, a wide choice of tool kits.
