The Company Profile
The history of the enterprise goes down over 60 years back. In 1931 ZATI, that was the then name of AO Pavlovsky Avtobus, started its first production. Initially the factory was built as a part of Gorky Automobile Plant and it was targeted on production of tractor tools.

In 1952 the government approved a reconstruction plan and launched a production programme of 10 000 buses a year. 1952 was actually a year of the second birth of the factory. In the same year of 1952 the first PAZ-651 buses mounted on GAZ-51 chassis were produced. 1960 witnessed a start of a bunch production of the first national wagon-type bus — PAZ-652. In 1968 a new model — PAZ-672 left the assembly line. This bus served as a basic model for production of a large family of various buses able to operate under various climate conditions and designed for numerous applications.

In 1989 PAZ-672 was replaced by a new model— PAZ-3205. During the last seven years the factory personnel developed and now produce a whole range of modifications of this bus:

PAZ-32051 — two-door; PAZ-3205-20 — haulage-passenger; PAZ-3205-30 — for transportation of disabled people; PAZ-3205-60 — for the North areas; PAZ-3206 off-country, four-wheel drive and others.

Over the recent years AO Pavlovsky Avtobus developed close business ties with many foreign partners from Germany, Japan, USA, Korea, Italy and others. Thanks to the effective co-operation the firm considerably augmented its industrial opportunities for production of various buses within the international standards.
