REGIONCONTRACT, a state-owned enterprise, is an official representative of the department of Foreign economic relations and resources of the Nizhny Novgorod province administration in the area of setting up of the regional grain fund. Created in 1994 by a Governor decree.

It carries out purchase and delivery for the province enterprises: food wheat, food rye, fodder wheat, barley, oats, bone meal, fish meal, solvent cake and other components for production of fodder mixtures of various types.

It makes arrangements for a distribution and handling of the grain and its processing products purchased for the state regional needs.

It fulfils: purchase and delivery of grain, sales of the finished products by a various types of finance clearing, including barter transactions.

It implements a development and bringing in new types of products and advanced technologies as per requirements of the enterprises, it provides them with research, technical, economic, commercial, legal and other data on a contract basis.

It concludes purchase contracts with suppliers for the available grain as well as for future crop deliveries with partial advance pre-payments.

It offers services for deliveries of raw materials, equipment, spare parts, package materials.

It maintains an investment policy for a grain processing industry development within the guidelines of the Nizhny Novgorod province administration.

It carries out training, re-training and upgrading of personnel as per corporate orders.

It carries out trading and intermediary activities.

It builds and operates mills, shellers, bakeries and other plants of industrial infrastructure.

It sets up retailing of bread products and other food stuffs and consumer goods.

REGIONCONTRACT has pioneered in Nizhny Novgorod province in a setting up of open trading sessions for the agro-industrial complex products with subsequent creation of the Nizhny Novgorod Agro-Iindustrial exchange, where REGIONCONRACT is one of the founding members.
