The Company Profile
The open joint-stock company is set up following the reorganisation of a state-owned enterprise — Sormoskoye fish farm in 1992. Since 1983 the farm was producing live fish: carp, trout, sturgeon. The total output — about 1 200 tonne of live fish, that was 2/3 of the total fish production and fish catch in Gorky province. At the moment apart from the production of live fish, the main area is focused on processing of sea products.

Main Types of Products
At the moment due to high interest rates on bank loans the output of the live fish is cut. The company has set a new target — processing of sea products and in addition to the live fish the firm produces: salted herring, smoked fish and food products.

Sales of the output goods: live carp, salted herring and scomber, fish products and delicacies, canned fish and vegetables.
