The Company Profile
AO Hull Factory is set up following reorganisation of the Drobmash production amalgamation in 1992. AO Hull Factory is focused on production of welded hulls for amphibious APC’s, armoured constructions of special purpose, armoured vehicles based on bunch production chassis; separate units for crushing and grinding equipment, consumer goods. The factory comprises: storing, mechanical assembly, thermo-pressing, welding, metalwork, assembly-painting, tool workshops with a complete production cycle. The factory has 1 500 employees which hold 51 per cent of the company shares.

The Main Types of Products
Armoured hulls of amphibious special purpose APC’s type BTR-80.
Armoured vehicles for cash and valuables transportation and crew protection from hand-gun fire with protection level IV (AKM - Kalashnikov assault rifle) and higher:
— mounted on GAZ truck chassis, truck and bus version, with 2 000 kg of load-carrying capacity — 3947 and 39472 models;
— mounted on UAZ — 3151 with 250 kg of load-carrying capacity, 3939 model;
— mounted on GAZ-33021 Gazell chassis for transportation of cash and special police units, 29451 and 2945 models with load-carrying capacity up to 800 kg (including a crew).

Armoured hulls and cabs for trucks of any modifications (including foreign-made vehicles).
Armour plates for cars (Volga and foreign-made cars).
Armoured currency exchange outlets.
Armoured containers for transportation of special materials and means.
Armoured components for bullet-proof vests.

Units for crushing and grinding equipment: 10492 plate feeders, SMD-148 vibrating screen, U-7810 control cabins, SMD-150, SMD-151, SMD-152 belt conveyers. Consumer goods: hand carpenter tools (planes, 0-557-00, 0-558-00, 0-17, 0-18 semi-smoothing planes), 20-12 meat smokeries, air heaters of 5 types and dimensions for heating of dachas with various kinds of fuel.

Adaptation of any motor vehicle to armoured as per customer’s requirements. Development and manufacturing of armour elements for room protection (armoured doors, shutters, windows, walls, strong boxes). Guarantee maintenance and repair of armour elements of vehicles and armour components produced by the factory.
