PO Avtoprovod is specialised in production of cable assemblies for motor and tractor plants of Russia. At present the firm meets fully a demand for cable assemblies of the major industrial enterprises of the national economy. Among customers are: the Gorky Auto Plant, the Pavlovo Bus Plant, the Zavolzhiye Engine Plant, the Zavolzhhiye Truck Tractors Plant.

The firm co-operates with the Ufa Engine Production Amalgamation, AO Moskvitch, the Golizino Bus Plant.

The firm produces repair sets of cable assembly for all models of motor vehicles manufactured before and now by these companies.

The cable assemblies are quality certified by the State Standard of Russia. The range of produced components and assemblies includes over 110 items. The production covers 9 types of cables from 0.5 to 120 square mm section, 57 colours, 73 types of terminals, 21 type of join-boxes, PCV tubes GOST 19034-82 up to 20 mm diameter ( own production).

To-day the amalgamation is prepared to produce 100 000 km of cable per year. Over three quarters of the output level fall on cable assemblies for the Gorky Auto Plant. Large-scale production is provided for GAZ-31029, GAZ-3102, GAZ-3110 Volga, GAZ-3302 GAZel, GAZ-3307 ( 4. 5 tonne lorry), GAZ-3306, 4301 diesel and their modifications. Smaller amounts are produced for Gaz-2705 and its modifications (GAZel with metal truck body ). The firm is developing production for GAZ-2204 BURLAK - load-passenger model, GAZ-2308 ATAMAN - 1. 5 truck for farmers, AKA-6226 ROSSIYANIN made by Golizino Bus Plant under MERCEDES-BENZ licence.

PO Avtoprovod offers co-operation with plants, companies, firms interested in production and supply of cable assemblies, it will discuss any proposals on new technologies and JV opportunities.
