OAO Balzam, re-organised in 1994 from a former experimental plant belonging to the Central Science and Research Forest Chemical Institute, produces and sells:
— natural and cosmetic abies balsams;
— basis for treatment balsams;
— various types of rosin and ether on this basis;
— resins for printing, electric and other industries;
— anti-vibration lubricants for drilling;
— glues, glue compositions for paper and leather industries.

In addition, the firm carries our experiments and produces a pilot lot of new chemical products and renders services in purification, separation and preparation of various liquid compositions.

The small lot products are unique and produced to full satisfaction of customers, among those are: OAO Orgsintaz (Nizhny Novgorod), OAO Solikamskbumprom, OAO Uralaskye Samozvety” (Yekatirinburg), TOO Raduga (Voronezh), Metro electric and mechanical plant (Moscow) and others.
