The Company Profile

KORONA Telephone Company is set up in October 1995. The main company founders are AO Sokol Aircraft Building Plant and TOO AVIASTROY-INVEST, an engineering organisation. TK KORONA carries out its activities in accordance with licence No. 3720 issued by the Ministry of Telecommunication of the Russian Federation.

The Main Types of Activities

TK KORONA is set up with an objective to provide telephone services for its customers. To achieve this aim in September 1996 the firm concluded a contract with ERICSSON, a Swedish company, to deliver AXE-10 system for a telephone central exchange for 10. 000 subscribers. AXE-10 system is used in all types of general access networks, it allows the operator to offer a wide choice of services for “conventional” telephony, “telephone data” (ISDN), intellectual networks and business communications as well as to provide an access to Internet.
