The brewery was founded in 1860 when Liskovo was a merchant village of Makaryevo uyezd in the Nizhny Novgorod province.

At that time the brewery produced beer and honey. Nowadays the brewery produces malt, soft drinks, but the main product still remains beer.

The beer is brewed of 8 sorts: Prazdnitchnoye, Isetskoye, Barskoye, Petrovskoye, Moskovskoye, Makaryevskoye-spezialnoye, Barkhatnoye, Nizhegorodskoye.

The local components used for the beer production: barley, hop, water and yeast are ecology pure. The technology process does not include conservants or any additives. Artesian water gives the Liskovo beer a specific flavour .

The annual output volume : beer - 650 000 dl, malt - 2 500 tonnes, soft drinks - 70 000 dl.
