Lyskovo Butter and Cheese Factory, a joint-stock company, is one of the oldest local hard cheese producers. In the early 90’s the output of cheese amounted to 1 200 tonnes per annum, butter - up to 850 tonnes. The factory processed 29 000 tonnes of milk.

Milk processing capacity 150 tonnes per day.

Number of employees — 95.

At present the factory operates at 30 per cent of its full capacity.

OAO Lyskovo Butter and Cheese Factory produces:
— hard cheeses (Poshekhonsky, Nizhegorodsky, Rossiysky, Kostromskoy), Adygey cheese and soft cheese;
— peasant butter, chocolate butter, melted butter;
— milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, yoghurt.
