The Company Profile

Zavod Petrovskogo was founded in 1927. The main areas of operation: production of naval instruments and radio tape recording equipment. Together with traditional areas the factory is developing new types of products focused on the energy saving technologies and radio-electronics. In 1996 the factory acquired new experience in production of components for OAO GAZ, a large-scale local motor car producer. This co-operation is successfully maintained. Since 1995 the factory is a basic company of a territory-industrial zone (TIZ), which enjoys tax benefits and duty free warehouse. TIZ is aimed to small business development.

The Main Types of Products

Zavod Petrovskogo produces:

• industrial products, recording equipment, including special purpose aircraft tape recorders (black boxes);
• modern car radios based on Korean models, car speakers, radio sets.
