Polyot, a science and production firm, is a leading Russian company in development of air radio telecommunication equipment.

From the moment of foundation in 1964, the firm progressed from development of single radio units to creation of air radio telecommunication systems.

The radio equipment developed by Polyot is installed on aeroplanes and helicopters of all national aircraft designs: Tupolev, Ilyushin, Antonov, Mikoyan, Sukhoy, Mil, Kamov, Yakovlev, Beriyev. Including: Il-96, Tu-204, Tu-160, An-124, MiG-29, MiG-31, Su-21, Mi-28, Ka-252. The technical systems developed by Polyot are used to equip ground radio centres to provide telecommunication with aircraft crews and air traffic control.

NPP Polyot within its area of operation fulfils:
— fundamental and applied science research;
— experimental and design development;
— production in small quantities of telecommunication equipment;
— equipment installation and maintenance.

The Main Types of Products:

Air telecommunication:
— automatic telecommunication and data exchange systems between aircraft and ground services;
— on board and ground telecommunication systems for various data exchange in a wide frequency range;
— on board radio stations, radio transmitters and radio receivers for all types of aircraft;
— on board telecommunication equipment: modems, coder-decoders, computers, control panels, aerial and feeder units.

Medical equipment:
— diagnosis and treatment systems for cancer diseases;
— magnetic treatment units for hospitals and households;
— psychological rehabilitation equipment.

Environment protection equipment:
— regional automated system of ecological monitoring;
— air system of ecology reconnaissance for helicopter installation;
— industrial wastes recycling purification plants.

Electronic equipment for people’s economy:
— electronic cattle castration equipment;
— portable radio stations;
— automatic systems of public electric driven transport control.

Areas of Co-operation

NPP Polyot is interested in business co-operation targeted on completion of joint projects in the following areas:
1. Design development of air telecommunication system.
2. Setting up a joint production of telecommunication equipment based on foreign technologies and components with further sales in the world and domestic markets.
3. Science research in the field radio-electronics, ecology, industrial production, development of consumer goods with application of technical ideas acquired by NPP Polyot and partner firms with a subsequent joint production.
NPP Polyot has production space and personnel required to this end.
