Vorsmenskaya poultry factory, an open joint-stock company, was put into operation in 1977. Over all these 20 years of operation the factory was developing its production facilities and augmenting the output of eggs and poultry. At present the factory occupies the first place in the Nizhny Novgorod province by the productivity of the hatching hens and it is included in the list of 10 top poultry factories in Russia. The total output of eggs amounts to 1100 mln pcs per year, poultry - 800 tonnes, the productivity - 290 eggs from each hen.
