The Company Profile

Zatonsky Experimental Forestry was created in 1973 and the firm is a federal property. The number of employees - 161.

The Main Types of Products

The firm is involved in growing of seedlings with output of 1. 5 mln pieces p.a. for developing new forests on 200 ha. In addition, the forestry grows grafts and fruits of American cranberry for sale.
The forestry is run as training and production centre of the Nizhny Novgorod Agricultural Academy.
Jointly with Kostroma LOS the forestry carries out experiments of growing various types of swamp and American cranberry under the local conditions.
Currently the forestry produces about 1000 kg of cranberry p.a.
The firm carries out timber production and sawing.

— round logs - 10 000 m3;
— industrial timber - 7 000 m3;
— fuel wood - 3 000 m3;
— unedged lumber;
— edged lumber;
— finishing boards;
— log house frames;
— log bathhouses and dachas.

The Main Types of Services

Timber saawing - 500 m3 for individual customers, cranbberry delivery, transportation servvices and others.
